The Mile High Tree

  Don't you think it's funny when you plan some big excursion and the activity you tacked on ends up being the most fun?  What?  Just me?
 
  That's what happened to us last night.  We concocted this HUGE plan to head to Downtown Denver to soak up the Holiday vibe.  We'd visit Union Station (didn't happen, we couldn't get there), check out the Chriskindl Market, see some of the parade of lights and go to the Mile High tree for a couple of minutes.

  Turns out, the Mile High Tree was the best part of the night and we stayed much longer than the planned couple of minutes.  We could have stayed all night!
