Mother's Day was a beautiful day so we decided to enjoy a picnic and hike. We had to picnic at Mesa Open space, since there was a line to get into Castlewood, but it was worth the wait. We made it to the old damn ruins and had an incredible day out.
A Little Fun Close to Home
One of the best things about living in Castle Rock is that a day out in nature is never far away. We've got trails that we can hit in walking distance. And then there's Castlewood Canyon State Park, which is just a 10 minute drive from the house.
